About Us

This Momento started with a name — and a wish.

“Momento” is a whisper away from “memento”: an object kept to hold a memory. That’s what I wanted this little shop to be about. Every moment of my child’s life deserves to be remembered — and sometimes it’s a wooden toy, sometimes a piece of clothing, that holds that moment.

So This Momento became a small shop for the early years, curated the way I’d curate for my own family:

Play. Timeless wooden toys from makers we love — Holztiger, Grapat, Bumbu, and more. Toys that invite open-ended play and get passed down, not thrown out.

Wear. A tightly edited children’s clothing capsule, starting with Silly Silas — beautiful things for little ones to live their moments in.

Everything here is chosen with one question: would I give this to my own child? If the answer isn’t yes, it doesn’t make the shelf.
